Key Stage 1

In Key Stage 1 we have a varied and exciting curriculum where we teach key skills in English and Mathematics alongside the foundation subjects.  

Foundation subjects are taught discreetly to allow for a clear progression of knowledge and skills in each subject. For more information about this please see the separate area on the curriculum page. 

Due to having a mixed Year 1 and 2 class the foundation subjects are taught on a 2 year cycle. The academic Year 2022-2023 is Cycle A with the academic year 2023-2024 being Cycle B.
